From Bone in 1972 to his work on the Masters Of Horror TV show in 2006 he has had his say on issues like racism, police corruption, cannibal monster babies, giant Aztec gods in New York, serial killers dressed as cops, involuntary donor transplants, carnivorous yoghurt and political corruption.

Paleo-Cinema Podcast #49 Three By Samuel Fuller.
Sunday Mar 14, 2010
Sunday Mar 14, 2010
Excuse the change in the podcast numbering. I've rolled the three music special podcasts into the numbering regime which makes this one the 49th Paleo-Cinema. This time around I look at Samuel Fuller's Pickup On South Street, Shock Corridor and The Naked Kiss. So it's pickpockets, reporters, prostitutes and wards full of insane nymphomaniacs.

Paleo-Cinema Podcast #45 Mermaids on a Merry Go Round.
Monday Feb 22, 2010
Monday Feb 22, 2010
After a monstrously difficult process and three different attempts to get the podcast recorded, here it is. I look at what I've been watching lately, and take a look at a couple of mermaid pictures, Miranda (1948) and Mad About Men (1954) which absolutely shit on Splash! (1984). I then go all artsy fartsy and discuss Max Ophüls' 1950 French film, La Ronde starring Simone Simon, Anton Walbrook and the magnificent Danielle Darrieux.

For Paleo-Cinema 44 It's listener's choice. Firstly, there's Preston Sturges' 1941 comedy with a punch Sullivan's Travels, then Love and Hate battle in unusual ways in The Night of the Hunter starring Robert Mitchum and directed by Charles Laughton and finally, some of the movie in-jokes, references and hommages to 20th Century cinema in Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" are revealed.
